Hi, I'm Gideon de Wet.
This is my website, and here you will get to know me... or at least a part of me! Those of you who know me will know that I absolutely LOVE music. When I started playing music at functions I used to do it for free, as I was only using an old Hi-fi, and I simply jumped at the opportunity to play at functions since this meant I can turn up the volume, so to speak. Please note, I am not a DJ, I play music at functions. What's the difference? DJ's do mixing and fading of songs, I don't. I simply play the songs people like to dance to from start to finish. This is mostly a personal thing since I don't like to play only half of a song, and I also feel that mixing, in many cases, destroy the essence of songs. I like to keep it original, and try to play the original versions of songs, rather than cover versions.
I also love singing and do it as often as I get a chance to do so. Songs in my repertoire include: Sweet Caroline, Livin' on love, Pampoen, Something about the way you look tonight, and many more! Singing has always been a passion, and I love doing it and will do it for as long as someone will listen.
